利用英语构词法进行词汇教学

许多学生记忆英语词汇时，采用零星的或是片段的记忆方法，他们对接触的生词不会分析和比较，遇到生词要么死记，要么找个词汇表硬背。这种被动的记忆方法不能在头脑中留下清晰、可追忆的印象，经过一段时间之后，这些词汇难免在其记忆中模糊、淡化，甚至消失。这种事倍功半的记忆方式还会挫伤学生词汇学习的积极性。造成这种状况的主要原因是学生不了解英语词汇的构成规律和采用了不恰当的学习策略。如果学生学会如何对英语单词进行分析、归类，找到它们在结构上的内部规律，就能提高其记忆单词的效率。

在SAT有关比较的试题中，作比较的两部分一定要具有可比性。这是以汉语为母语的学生的一个难点。在表达比较时，汉语经常使用省略形式，但在SAT看来，这种省略就使比较对象之间缺乏可比性。
