词根词缀法：这个方法基于英语单词的构词法，靠分解单词来记忆。

对于初次接触英语的小朋友来说，他们学习兴趣浓厚，但学习能力，如听力水平、注意力水平等能力不高，不适合直接开始音标学习。所以要从比较简单的辅音字母入手，充分利用汉语拼音与音标之间的内在联系，渗透进行辅音字母的发音训练，降低识记单词的难度。比如，在教学单词book时，教师可以先在黑板上写出字母b,请学生来读一读它是拼音时的读法，然后教师示范它是音标时的读法，通过反复对比帮助学生感知两者之间的内在关联，注意两者之间的相互对应；再用相同的方法教学字母k;对于元音字母组合oo,则暂时先不加说明，直接读出；然后再请学生将这三个部分进行拼读，得出单词book的读音。
